I recently had the idea of planting herbs in the garden. I always liked gardening and herbs seemed like a great idea for our survival, should the need arise. On a sunny March day, I planted herbs and tomato seeds. I find it fascinating to see things grow and get excited when the first shoots are showing up, little signs of life. If nurtured, they will grow into strong, resilient plants, able to survive the wind, rain or storms. In these times, when life seems to be so precarious, it is incredibly soothing to see life emerge, one tiny leave at a time.
