Bodies (April 12th) by Mylene

I feel confused. Here we are, in some kind of lockdown. But here is a group of teenagers, playing basketball. Body on body. Over there is a group of runners, running side by side. The supermarket is a collection of more bodies, which feel too close. Suddenly, I notice bodies everywhere. Bodies to avoid. Bodies to be afraid of. Bodies with germs and viruses. Dangerous bodies, we are told. Will this crisis result in us seeing bodies differently? Our own and that of others? Will we interact with them in novel ways? Will we feel comfort in physical proximity?
